- Description
- The United States Government seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 15,042 rentable square feet in San Jose, CA within the following delineated area: San Jose, CA Central Business District (CBD). The space should yield between 13,080 to 14,388 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet. Secured parking is required for thirty-five (35) vehicles. The proposed lease is for 15 years, 10 years firm and should be fully serviced. The space will be used by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to house personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The space must be in a class A office building and in a section of the city that is professional in appearance, well-maintained, and of modern design and/or tastefully rehabilitated to modern use with access to public transportation. The space cannot be located within 1,000 feet of a Drug Free School Zone or in close proximity to a day care facility. The space must meet or be capable of being altered to meet the Government's requirements for accessibility and seismic safety and not be located in a 100 year flood plain.
