- RECOVERY--The specifications are hereby modified to remove PRESSURIZED WATER SYSTEM and replace it with GRAVITY FEED WATER SYSTEM. The bids due date is hereby modified from 4:00 pm CST FRIDAY AUGUST 21 2009 to 4:00 pm CST FRIDAY AUGUST 28 2009. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, Stockton Missouri Lake Project Office, intends to issue a contract to furnish and deliver a Vibratory Compaction Roller to Stockton, Missouri. SPECIFICATIONS: "DOUBLE STEEL DRUM COMPACTOR "ROLLERS 47 INCH TO 48 INCH WIDE "OPERATOR SEATBELT "BACKING UP ALARM "ROLL OVER PROTECTION SYSTEM "DIESEL FUELED "MINIMUM OPERATING DRY WEIGHT 5,400 LBS "VIBRATORY FREQUENCY OF 3300 TO 4000 VPM "MINIMUM 32 HORSEPOWER "GRAVITY FEED WATER SYSTEM "MINIMUM 50 GAL WATER TANK CAPACITY Any contract resulting will be firm-fixed price, with NAICS code 423830, SIC code 5084, FSC code 3825, size standard 100 employees, and being 100% set aside for small business. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = TO QUOTE: At a minimum, responsible sources shall provide the following: - A price proposal - Bidders name, address, and telephone number - Federal tax ID # - Duns # Responses to this solicitation are due by 4:00 pm CST on Friday, August 28th, at Stockton Lake Project Office, 16435 East Stockton Lake Drive, Stockton, MO 65785.
