- This is a Sources Sought posting for market research purposes only. This is not a request for Quote. The Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking vendors capable of providing the following: Dual Polarized Quad-Ridged Horn Antennas. QTY: 4 Specification for EDO AS-48461-02 Dual Polarized Quad-Ridged Horn Antenna 1) Frequency Range 2.0 GHz. To 18.0 GHz. 2) VSWR 2.5:1, maximum 3) Polarization Simultaneous Horizontal and Vertical 4) Gain 5 dBi to 18 dBi 5) Beamwidth 3 dB (BW): 60̊ to 10̊, nominal 6) Beam Squint (3 dB bisector): BW 40̊: (BW/10̊, max BW ˃40̊ : 4̊, max 7) Cross Polarization -20 dB, max 8) Isolation between ports: 20 dB, min, 2 GHz to 4 GHz 25 dB, min, 4 GHz to 18 GHz 9) Phase Tracking Between Ports: ±17̊, max 10) Amplitude Tracking Between Ports: ±1.3 dB, max 11) Impedance: 50 reference 12) Maximum Input Power (each connector): 100 Watts CW (-02) 13) Connector type SMA female 14) Weight 4 pounds, 4 ounces 15) Finish Flat Black Place of delivery and acceptance is Edwards AFB, CA 93524; Please note that this synopsis is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Firms responding to this synopsis must identify their company's capabilities to perform the requirements described herein, reference the synopsis number and indicate whether or not that they are a small or small disadvantaged business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The NAICS code is 334220. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees; The information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis.
