Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9124L09T0101. Commercial Services. The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, materials and management necessary to provide service visits for UPS Maintenance Systems at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing is applicable to this acquisition. The applicable size standard is 500 employees. The Government will issue a 100% set-aside for small business Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Government will evaluate offers in response to this request and award a purchase order/contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this request, and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors (e.g., past performance, delivery, socio-economic status and/or quality). Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-2(b). Award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. Supply/services will be procured pursuant to the regulatory direction of FAR Part 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items. The expected award includes a base award with four (4) Option Periods. The Period of Performance for this requirement is 1 September 2009 through 31 August 2014. The entire solicitation package will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil. Requests for copies of the solicitation package by any other means will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps and/or ASFI websites for the release of the solicitation package or subsequent solicitation amendments. Acknowledgement of any and all amendments is required. The RFQ will be issued on or about 20 August 2009. The closing date for submission of offers will be 27 August 2009, 4:00 p.m CST. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit for this project 24 August 2009 at 0900 hours. It would be to the advantage of all interested bidders to attend this site visit. SITE VISIT ARRANGEMENTS: An organized site visit has been arranged to inspect the site where these services are to be performed. The site visit will be on 24 August 2009 at 9:00 a.m. central standard time (CST). Persons attending the site visit should be at Directorate of Contracting, Bldg 1803, 2418 NW Macomb Road, Fort Sill, OK no later than 8:45 a.m. CST on 24 August 2009. Due to the limited space available, each concern should limit the number of their representatives attending to two (2) persons. Written or telephonic notification of attendance must be received by the Contracting Officer not later than 21 August 2009, @ 4:00 p.m. CST. Point of contact is Lisa G.
