Description

8. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-09-T-0184. This acquisition is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. (iv) This acquisition is a sole source to Agilent Technologies. The item that will be provided is intellectual property of Agilent Technologies and it is only available directly from Agilent Technologies. The associated NAICS code is 511210. The small business size standard is $25 Million. (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN 0001 - The contractor shall provide software support/updates in accordance with the below statement of work for the period of 2 February 2010 through 1 February 2011. CLIN 0002 (OPTION) The contractor shall provide software support/updates in accordance with the below statement of work for the period of time of 2 February 2011 through 1 February 2012. CLIN 0003 (OPTION) The contractor shall provide software support/updates in accordance with the below statement of work for the period of time of 2 February 2012 through 1 February 2013. CLIN 0004 (OPTION) The contractor shall provide software support/updates in accordance with the below statement of work for the period of time of 2 February 2013 through 1 February 2014. CLIN 0005 (OPTION) The contractor shall provide software support/updates in accordance with the below statement of work for the period of time of 2 February 2014 through 1 February 2015. C.3 Option Period 1. The Contractor shall provide the same software support as detailed in C.1 and C.2. The period is the following twelve month period following the base period of performance. C.4 Option Period 2. The Contractor shall provide the same software support as detailed in C.1 and C.2. The period is the following twelve month period following option 1 (C.3) period of performance. C.5 Option Period 3. The Contractor shall provide the same software support as detailed in C.1 and C.2. The period is the following twelve month period following option 2 (C.4) period of performance. C.6 Option Period 4. The Contractor shall provide the same software support as detailed in C.1 and C.2. The period is the following twelve month period following option 3 (C.5) period of performance. (End of Statement of Work) (vii) Delivery shall be made to the Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi, Maryland 20783. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: NONE. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. N/A (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this clause NONE.
