Description
The government intends to issue a firmed fixed priced contract for the installation of vehicle barriers at the Watervliet Army Arsenal, NY. The barriers must be in accordance with the K12 rating, as defined by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Department of States Certification for Anti-Ram Vehicle Barriers, dated 15 September 2008 (SD-STD-02.02) Period of Performance is within 90 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code is 238110 with an associated size standard of $14 million average annual revenue. The procurement will be set aside 100% for Small Businesses as referenced by FAR 5.207(d). This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil and will be listed under Watervliet Arsenal. It is also available online at the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov under the reference number W911PT-09-R-0018 on or about 3 September 2009. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days later. A site visit will be conducted about 10 days after issuance of the solicitation. In order to receive a contract award, if issued, the successful offeror must be actively registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR - http://www.ccr.gov), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA - http://orca.bpn.gov), and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF - https://wawf.eb.mil).
