- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: W81GYE09BEAUCUST This is a Sources Sought notice for janitorial services. Do not submit a proposal in response to this notice. The Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Acquisition Center is conducting market research to indentify businesses to provide janitorial services for the 842nd Transportation Battalion, Beaumont, Texas. The findings of the market research will be used to determine if either an 8(a) or Hub Zone business is the best value for MOTCO. SDDC is requesting interested offerors to provide information via email to William Henderson, william.henderson19@us.army.mil no later than 26 Aug 09. Please note that SDDC will not provide any reimbursement for costs incurred in submitting a response. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AN SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS SUCH. All information is to be provided on a voluntary basis at no cost to the Government. Below is the general intention and scope of work of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). (General Intention: The intention of this requirement is to obtain janitorial services for the 842nd Transportation Battalion Headquarters Building, Beaumont, Texas. The facility consists of approximately 27, 500 square feet on two floors. There are four stairways and one elevator. Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supervision, general and specialized equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, and any other items and services necessary to perform the functions of this PWS. This service will consist of daily general cleaning of furniture and furnishings, to include all windows floors, doors, mats, and window ledges, daily restroom sanitation, carpet and window cleaning. Interested parties must demonstrate in their qualifications to perform the requirements under the applicable NAICS code 561720, size standard $16.5 M. Only 8(a) sources in the general Beaumont, Texas area are being sought for this service. Place of Performance is 842nd Transportation Battalion, Beaumont, Texas. Period of Performance is from 1 Oct 2009- 30 Sept 2010.
