Description
6 Each, XM-2a SIM/GUN Machine Gun Simulator with remote Or Equal. This device is manufactured by Int'l Repo Depo and all part number and description describe this products. Potential offerors are encouraged to quote Same or Equal. If quoting Or Equal please provide specifications on your product. The XM-2A unit produces the sound and flash of a live machine gun for training and recognition purposes. The unit uses oxygen and propane gas for small industrial type bottles available at your local supplier and refillable. It is very portable, easy to conceal and easy to operate. Unit can be purchased with an optional remote control unit to control it from distances of 300 yard. XM-2A produces a concussive blast wave and noise in excess of 150 decibels. The XM-2A machine gun simulator is housed in water resistance housing and designed to be used in wet or dry locations. It is a self contained unit housing the controls and rechargeable battery. It has external connection points for the oxygen and propane hose connections, manual firing control and connection points for auxiliary contact for remote firing operations. The unit is designed to set in the ground or on a flat surface. It has 4 mounting holes in the body to allow for mounting to almost anything. Optional stand available. The unit housing has 2quick opening latches to gain access to the battery, controls and adjustable rate of fire adjustment. Unit is operated by manual push button control on a 12 cord, or by any normally open contacts either wireless radio controlled remote or hard wired to the unit. The firing chamber is mounted outside the control box and access to the spark plug used for ignition is via its access cover on top of the barrel assy. Controls are solid-state, fully fused protected. Gas valves are all brass construction. Cycle Timer to allow for a delay on or off to reduce the chances of the operator overheating the simulator. Solid State and fully adjustable. Rate of fire is adjustable from 08-14 cycles per second to simulate a wide variety of small arms. The power requirement is 12Volts at 6Amp Hour Battery.
