- RECOVERY: This project will be funded by the American Recoveryand Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reportingrequirements of the act. The VA Western New York Healthcare System,Buffalo, New York, intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP)VA-528-09-RA-0231 to REPLACE WAREHOUSE ROOF/PATIO. The Contractor shallbe required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment,supervision etc. necessary to replace the surface over the warehouseroof (which is a patio above). The project includes but is not limitedto the removal of the existing pavement down to the concrete roof andinstallation of roof drains. The estimated construction cost range forthis project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is aService-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. Award will bemade on a competitive basis to the responsible Service-DisabledVeteran-Owned Small Business responding to this solicitation inaccordance with the solicitation requirements. OBTAINING SOLICITATIONMATERIAL: Solicitation materials consisting of the Request for ProposalDetails, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be availableon http://www.fedbizopps.gov in electronic format only. These shouldbe available on or about September 7, 2009. All interested parties (subs& primes) should register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov as an"Interested Vendor" so that others will know of your interest inparticipating in this procurement. A Bidder's mailing list, list ofinterested parties and/or list of attendees at site visits WILL NOT beprepared nor distributed by the Contract Specialist. SOLICITATIONAMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted athttp://www.fedbizopps.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT beindividually mailed. By registering to "Add to Watchlist"; you will benotified by of any new amendments that have been issued and posted. Noother notification of amendments will be provided.
