- Description
- The FAA is seeking qualified vendors for the construction of a foundation pad for a Precision Path Indicator Light (PAPI) system at the airport in Selawik, Alaska. The anticipated period of performance will be July 2010. The estimated range for the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This announcement is open to all businesses to submit offers, and is not restricted in any way. The successful offeror will be required to perform at least 40% of the project. Full specifications are included in Section C of the Request for Offers (RFO). Construction drawings and the current Davis-Bacon wage determination for construction are separate attachments. See Section J of the RFO for a complete list of attachments. The FAA anticipates making one award for a fixed-price construction contract in response to this RFO. The deadline for offers is COB September 11, 2009. See Section L for submission instructions.
