- U.S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Alcon Laboratories Inc., for Phacomulcification System w/Ozil to be use by NHO’s Ophthalmology department. The intention is to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The procedures of FAR 13 will be used for this acquisition. The NAICS code for this Solicitation is 339112. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Contractors shall provide items listed in the solicitation in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract. Delivery of CLINs will be to U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan. Contractor shall provide tracking information for all shipments, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling of all packaging. NHO reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by this agency. Required Central Contractor Registration. [Note: Lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration will make a Contractor ineligible for award] Registration is available via the Internet at www.CCR.gov. Interested contractors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. Faxed offers will be accepted. Contractors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information. Quotes and all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc.) must be submitted to the POC no later than 4:00 pm Japan Standard Time (JST) on September 4, 2009.
