Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION.. NO FURTHER SOLICIATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Q9834090039 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 423460 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9 Million. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: Hi-Spy Public Viewing Machines/Scopes Brand Name or Equal 1. Permanently mounted outdoor non-coin operated viewing scope/standing height 35x power 1 EA 2. Permanently mounted outdoor non-coin operated viewing scope/wheelchair accessible 35x power 1EA 3. Permanently mounted outdoor non-coin operated viewing scope/standing height 20x power 1 EA 4. Permanently mounted outdoor non-coin operated viewing scope/wheelchair accessible 20x power 1EA Viewing Scope Specs: Scopes"Power of magnification: We are ordering 2 scopes (one standing/one accessible) at 35x magnification. We are ordering 2 scopes (one standing/one accessible) at 20x magnification. Distinction between power is important as they will be at two different locations, one of which offers more long-distance viewing."Telescope vision: We want one-eye viewing as opposed to binocular vision"Waterproof optics essential. These viewers will be outside in all sorts of weather. Mounts:"For all: Moveable head offering 360 degree rotation horizontally and a minimum of 30 degrees up and down vertically."For all: Neutral/natural color base or metal"For all: Constructed of sturdy metal (i.e. aluminum) and painted/powder coated for weather protection."For all: Added emphasis: non-coin operated."For standing model, elevated ring around the base for shorter people."For wheelchair accessible mount, prefer single post to double post model. Please provide Cut sheets of Viewing scopes if other then Hi-Spy for evaluation. Please ensure that all shipping charges (F.O.B. Destination) are included into the cost of the above items.
