- Professional Consulting The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to procure the following services. This solicitation is an 8a small business set-aside. The Government will procure this order utilizing competitive FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. Evaluation Criteria as follows: 1) Technical Approach: Contractors are to provide a discussion of their technical approach for providing the services required for this solicitation. Specifically, the Contractor must submit a statement of the scope and purpose of the project to demonstrate understanding of the organization and its current status in regard to strategic and operational planning. The technical approach should also clearly describe an overview of the methodology used for guiding performance of the technical requirements identified in the statement of work and a general description of how the Contractors' technical approach will be applied to accomplish the requirements. The technical proposal must not contain reference to cost. 2) Similar Experience: Contractors must provide information reflecting experience and knowledge of assigned staff. The award will be made to the Offeror whose proposal provides the best value to the Government. For the purposes of determining best value, technical considerations will be paramount. The Government will not make an award at significantly higher overall cost to the Government to achieve only slightly superior performance. Contractor minimum requirements: Requisite experience in conducting staff skills assessment, and identifying personnel needs; understanding of health disparities and experience in synthesizing health disparities literature; and experience in developing work plans and making recommendations that can be operationalized. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
