THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDERMULTIPLE AWARD INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) CONTRACT FOR MEDICAL PROJECTS LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY, WORLDWIDE. THIS MULTIPLE AWARD IDIQ CONTRACT WAS SOLICITED UNDER N62470-09-R-9023 AND RESULTED IN AWARD TO 3 CONTRACTORS: RLF & SHERLOCK, SMITH AND ADAMS JV UNDER N62470-09-D-9042; SMITH GROUP AND URS GROUP INC JV UNDER N62470-09-D-9043; AND HDR ARCHITECTURE UNDER N62470-09-D-9044. Project Description: The architect-engineer (A/E) is to provide a Design-Build RFP document for a multi-story (approximately 511,000 gross SF) Naval Hospital and a multi-level parking structure for approximately 1,500 cars, surface parking and associated development of access roads at the US Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA. The developed RFP will support the provision of a Design/Build facility that is "state of the art", incorporating the principles of Evidence Based Design that is energy efficient, and can achieve a LEED Silver certification.
