- Floor Plan CAD File Shelf Photo 4 Shelf Photo 3 Shelf Photo 2 Shelf Photo 1 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z1609181A002; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 effective 11 Aug 09, Defense DCN 20090729 effective 29 Jul 09, and AFAC 2009-0318 effective 18 March 2009. This acquisition is unrestricted; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337214. The business size standard is 500. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7110. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2522. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for storage system in accordance with the attached item list. 0001-AA Movable Storage System with seismic hardware and decking, fixed shelving, parachute rack with delivery and installation. Require 5 movable storage units measuring 23'L x 4'W x 7'H (23'L x 24.5'W usable floor area). These storage units cannot exceed 7'1" due to the existing sprinkler system. 4 movable storage units will have 4 shelves running the full 23' and must be a minimum of 18" between each shelf. The 5th movable storage unit will also have 4 shelves running the full length with the exception of a 4'L x 3'H space which will be capable of hanging 14 parachutes (2 parachutes on each hangar support system supporting up to 150 lbs per parachute). These parachutes will be stored on the bottom half of the 5th movable storage system and 1 to 2 shelves will be located above the parachute storage compartment. Must be able to store at a minimum of 14 parachutes. Personnel will have access to both sides of the movable storage system. The top of unit must be grated or opened to allow for sprinkler fire suppression if activated. All shelving will be padded with a highly durable material. Shipping, installation, and clean-up will be provided by qualified service technicians. The movable storage system will be a seismic system in compliance with current UBC building codes. System uses mechanical assist hand cranks and steel end panels. System will incorporate artificial deck and stainless steel ramp floor junctions. Decking will be sealed with clear coating. 24-36" must be left between movable carriage, System can be either dual or single entry, standard warranty for part and labor required, must submit details of warranty with proposal, vendor must provide a detailed diagram/floor plan of the moveable storage system witht the bid to the customer Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. If you plan on attending you will need to email me by 27 Aug 09 @ 0900 letting me know you wish to attend. We will be meeting in the parking lot adjacent to the Travis AFB Pass and Registration Center at 0845 to gather and take accountability, the van will be leaving the visitor center @ 0900 to proceed to the site. You will not need to obtain a base pass because transportation will be provided by 60 CONS. As a failsafe measure you should bring your vehicle registration, proof of insurance in case you have to bring your vehicle on base. Please bring something to write with so you can write down any questions you may have for the customer. You are required to submit all of your questions in writing within 3 days of site visit and all of the answers will be posted on FedBizOps. This is to ensure a fair solicitation process to all potential contractors. You may want to bring additional items that you may need to come up with a more accurate quote.
