Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The Solicitation number is F1S0AX9152B001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2009-07-29. NAICS is 334519 and the size standard is 500 employees; This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The AFFTC/PKE, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following: ITEM 1: ET10 Reflectometer Total Quantity: 1 • Spectral ranges: 3 to 5 and 8 to 12 microns • Near normal, 20° incidence angle • Measurement Time: Approximately 5 seconds (user controlled) • Portable • Battery operated The ET10 measures emissivity values in the two most commonly used spectral regions, 3 to 5 and 8 to 12 microns. Its main application is to produce emissivity values for the infrared cameras. The advanced IR cameras require the input of an emissivity value for accurate temperature calculations. The emissivity values obtained from tables can be far from real leading to large temperature uncertainties. The ET10 can be used in a lab setting or in the field on small or large objects. The ET10 can measure emissivity of any surface in just a few seconds. FOB Destination.
