THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THISOPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461,38 USC SEC. 8127 PROVIDES SDVOSB AND VOSB SET ASIDE AUTHORITY TO VA. The VA Greater Los Angeles Heath Care System, Sepulveda Campus has arequirement for Project R691A4-09-166SM; Replace Irrigation System,Phase II, Sepulveda. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction award isanticipated. Contractor shall furnish management, supervision, labor,transportation, equipment, and materials, and perform work to includedemolition, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electricalwork, and certain other items as required by project drawings andspecifications. Work will be performed in a functioning hospitalenvironment, which will remain operational during the project duration. Solicitation documents, including technical specifications and projectdrawings, will be available electronically on or about September 15,2009, at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors willsearch for solicitation VA-262-09-RA-0483 to access solicitationdocuments and any Amendments. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLYENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDINGPOSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS AREADVISED TO CHECK THE SIGHT FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOROBTAINING AMENDMENTS. Ninety day bid acceptance period will berequired. Bid Bond will be required. Only electronic proposalssubmitted via e-mail will be accepted. A Pre-Proposal Conference andSite Visit shall be held, date/time/location to be provided with thesolicitation. NAICS: 236220, Small Business Size Standard: $31 Million.Project Magnitude: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contract CompletionTime will be One Hundred and Eighty (180) Calendar Days. Offerors must be listed in the VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages atwww.vetbiz.gov, currently registered on Central Contractor Registration,www.ccr.gov, and have completed online Representations andCertifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. This acquisition is solicitedpursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a Service-DisabledVeteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Additionally, this acquisitionwill be conducted in accordance with FAR 15.101-2, Lowest PriceTechnically Acceptable Source Selection Process.
