- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The solicitation number is 09TC052 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and DFARS change notice 20080812. This purchase is restricted to 100% Small Business Concern. The NAICS code is 321114 and the size standard is 500. The requirement is for: Item 0001: QTY: 1 LOT, (18) - E25030125S 25' Estate, aluminum, external halyard flagpole, SATIN FINISH (3" base dia. X.125 wall) w/ collar. (10.26) - MTRFRT Hundred poiunts of frieght. (32) - BAL0120 3" Gold Anodized Spun Aluminum Ball. (32) - TRK9100 1 7/8' 2 2' Cap Style Stationary, Truck Assembly, Matte. (64) - SNPBRASS 3 ½" Brass snaphook. (1600) - HAL0710 5/16" White Solid braid polyester halyard. (50) - 50STATESET 1 4x6' - State outdoor flag set, nylon. (1) - CMT Concrete, materials, and supplies. Item 0002: QTY: 1 LOT, AIRBORNE FLAGE LABOR/INSTALLATION & FLAG **Item Note** Install 18-25' replacements flagpoles into the original locations. Refurbish 32 existing 25' flagpoles with new truck assemblies, aluminum gold balls, rope halyards, and brass snaps. Straighten bent and leaning flagpoles back into alignment. Remove eye bolt on each flagpole. This does not include cleaning or refinishing the shaft of the flagpoles. The black marks DO NOT come off. Location must be accessible to our trucks and equipment. NOTE: Airborne Flag & Flagpole, LLC will exercuse dye diligence to locate underground utilities, but assumes no liability for any damages incurred during excavation. Deliver to: Quote must be effective through 31 Oct 08. 344 TRS 950 Voyager Dr, Ste 1 Lackland AFB, TX 78236 FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies; quotes will be evaluated based on most advantageous to the Government; price, and other factors considered. The following factors are stated in relative importance and shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1. Delivery Date, 2. Price (see FAR 15.304). 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds (Apr 1984); Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. This is a planning requirement for FY09.
