Description

The Department of the Treasury's Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD), on behalf of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, intends to negotiate a sole-source acquisition with Apple Professional Services for the Apple/Microsoft Integration Project. The primary goal of the Integration project is to resolve the risk to official OCC information by integrating all Apple assets to the primary network infrastructure. The desired outcome is the full integration of Apple technology into the mainstream, Microsoft Active Directory (AD) based, production computing environment. The primary objective will be to bring all Apple systems under OCC purview by implementing the required security technical, management, and operational controls. Any responses received as a result of this notice, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Responses will NOT be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon any written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Electronic submissions must be received no later than 2:00 PM ET, Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Please note that an RFQ document is not available at this time.
