- Post Trident Spectre Support and Operational Evaluation of Approved Solutions C.1 Objective The purpose of the work is to provide support for in-country operational evaluations of approved Trident Spectre Solutions. C.2 Requirements The contractor shall conduct integration, testing, and in-country operational evaluations for a period of up to 30 days at an OCONUS location. The period of performance of the work will begin upon contract award, include a 30-day overseas operational assessment from on or about 28 September 2009 to on or about 30 October 2009, and conclude within 30 days of return from operational assessment and upon completed written and presented debrief of results to government. Additionally, the contractor shall assess effectiveness of approved Trident Spectre Solutions in accomplishing their assigned missions and make recommendations to further optimize its capability to support force protection and other missions. C.2.1 Conduct pre-deployment. The contractor shall conduct all required pre-deployment readiness checks of the contractor's personnel prior to deploying of them to an OCONUS operational location. C.2.2 Conduct in-country integration and testing. The contractor shall set up selected Trident Spectre sensor and communications equipment in an operational environment. The contractor shall install the necessary infrastructure required, set up these sensors, and communications equipment including: electrical wiring, communications wiring, antenna tower installation, server rack installations, and other general contracting requirements. C.2.3 Conduct a Trident Spectre solutions effectiveness study. The contractor shall conduct a study to assess deployed solutions. At a minimum, this study shall include: Does the equipment's performance and capability perform to the Trident Spectre specifications? What improvements can be made to better the equipment? What are the environmental impacts to the equipment? What new requirements can be derived from this in-country operational assessment? C.3 Travel Travel between the Contractor's facility Little Creek Amphibious Base, VA; Fort Story, VA; and various OCONUS technology evaluation locations is required. Contractor shall be authorized the issuance of Contractor Common Access Cards (CAC) and Vehicle Registration Decals. C.4 Security The Contractor shall have a Top Secret Facility clearance. C.5 Delivery Schedule/Milestones The Contractor shall submit all reports, data and deliverables to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for inspection and acceptance. The Contractor shall provide all document deliverables in hard copy, disk, or via secure communications. No unclassified email transmissions are authorized. The operational Evaluations Reports will be submitted to NLT 30 days after OCONUS deployment.
