Description

VIASAT Satellite Simulator Repair The 96 Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for evaulation/repair of a VIASAT Satellite Simulator to VIASAT, Inc., 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Anticipated award date is 3 September 2009. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: (1 LO) Evulate for repair; VIASAT Satellite Simulator. CLIN 0002: (1 LO) Upgrade Four Channel DOCCT/S Integrated Waveform. CLIN 0003: (1 LO) Repair; Cost NTE. Vendor shall provide a quote to the contracting office to be reviewed and approved prior to any repair after evulation. These items are to be delivered to 46 TW LMCA MHU Bldg 33, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 FOB Destination. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334290, small business size standard: 750 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 5 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
