Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Webb Research Inc., E. Falmouth MA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for repair and refurbishment of Slocum Glider 126. The anticipated contract value is $34,200. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The resulting purchase order will be firm, fixed price. The applicable NAICS is 541360 with a business size of $4.5M. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
