- Schedule A - Serial Numbers, Model Numbers, Descriptions, and Quantities Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial services purchase prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included within this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation Number FA4600-09-T-0040 is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14. This solicitation is issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 423430; the NAICS size standard is 500 employees. All awards will be issued subject to the availability of funds. 55 CONS intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) purchase order for the following service: (Please see attachments entitled "Statement of Work" and "Schedule A.") 1. Scope of Work: This Statement of Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and material required to perform the work specified herein. The work shall consist of EMC hardware support. 2. Major Items of Work: a. 24 X 7 X 365 coverage with a four hour response time b. Firmware updates as provided by the vendor c. Replacement of defective parts d. Adjustments to hardware to maximize efficiency e. Other work as necessary f. Provide parts and other support at no additional cost to the customer 3. Location of Work: The location of work is 14th Weather Squadron ("14WS"), Veach-Baley Federal Building, 151 Patton Ave., Asheville NC. 4. All work will be coordinated with 14WS. 5. Contractor will maintain a harmonious relationship with 14WS staff and any and all contactors on site. All quotes should be received NLT Monday, September 7, 2009 at 11:59 PM CST, and sent electronically via e-mail to matthew.kohlbek@offutt.af.mil. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2009, at 11:59 PM CST will make a bidder ineligible for award. Also, the contractor must have the NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their CCR Registration.
