Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA-776-09-RQ-0140 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR 13.1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-29. This solicitation is unrestricted; the associated NAICS code is 424920. Closing date for this notice is 13:00 EST 09/01/2009. RESPONSES SHALL BE SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AT CHARLES.HOLMES@VA.GOV. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR E-SUBSCRIPTIONS 15,000 individual accounts/subscriptions to Athens (www.athensams.net/classic.aspx). Subscription service used to organize the library resources available at all VA Medical Centers. See RFQ-Amendment VA-776-09-RQ-0140 0001 for SF-1449. Offeror shall fill in the following blocks on the first page of the SF-1449: 2, 17a, 23, 24, 26, and 30a-c.
