- RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO DIGICON CORPORATION AS A LOGICAL FOLLOW-ON TO THE BARCODE ENABLED AUTOMATED POINT OF CARE TECHNOLOGY PROCUREMENT (BEAPOCT) WHICH WAS AWARDED TO DIGICON CORPORATION UNDER CIOSP2 TRACKING NUMBER C-2588 RESULTING IN THE AWARD OF DELIVERY/TASK ORDER NUMBER HHSN26900001. UNDER DIGICON CORPORATION'S CONTRACT NUMBER HHWN26399990040I. THIS REQUIREMENT IS BEING PROCESSED UNDER THE CIOSP2 CONTRACTING VEHICLE AS AN EXCEPTION TO FAIR OPPORTUNITY IN THE INTEREST OF ECONOMY AND EFFICIENCY. ALL CIOSP2 i AWARDEES WERE PROVIDED A FAIR OPPORTUNITY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ORIGINAL BARCODE ENABLED AUTOMATED POINT OF CARE TECHNOLOGY (BEAPOT), INITIATIVE. In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 P.L. 111-5 and Federal Acquistion Regulation, Subpart 5.704, the Clinical Center posts this Notice of Intent to issue a delivery/task order to Digicon Corporation for PDA devices and label printers for support of the BarCode System implmentation in the Clinical Center, under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations (CIOSP-SP2i) If there are any questions, please contact Mrs. Ann Argaman on (301) 594-5919 ( aargaman@cc.nih.gov ) or Mr. Julius Tidwell on (301) 496-0101.
