- AMENDMENT #3: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the deadline for responses until 08/28/09 at 10:00 am ET. Thank you. =========================================================================== AMENDMENT #2: The purpose of the amendment is to provide a response to questions submitted in reference to the RFQ. 1.) Q:Should a filter holder and filter for SU-8 resist processing be included? A: Yes. 2.) Q: Is a microscope for alignment required, if so what are the specification? A: A microscope has not been specified. 3.) Q: If no microscope required should there be provisions for future upgrade? A: The user will supply a microscope. 4.) Q: Should the system be upgradeable for CLiPP, Contact Liquid Photopolymer Processing for microfluidics? A: This may be proposed as an optional item, but it has not been specified/required in the RFQ. 5.) Q: Should the system be upgradeable for NanoImprinting? A: This may be proposed as an optional item, but it has not been specified/required in the RFQ. ======================================================================== AMENDMENT #1: The purpose of the amendment is to extend the delivery date for equipment from "award plus 15 days" to "award plus 8 weeks". Thank you for your interest. ====================================================================== Combined Synopsis/Solicitation RFQ-FDA-1062576 UV Exposure System GENERAL This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for Small Business concerns. Only Small Business concerns may submit quotes in response to this combined synopsis/solicitation. DESCRIPTION FDA requires one (1) UV Exposure System with a standard warranty. Delivery shall be made no later than eight (8) weeks from the date of award to the following location: FDA, Division of Pharmaceutical Analysis Room 1002 114 Market Street St. Louis, MO 63101 ATTN: TBD EVALUATION METHOD Quotes will be evaluated on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Offerors shall submit sufficient information for the Government to determine the technical acceptability of the proposed equipment. In order for a product to be considered technically acceptable, it must meet the salient characteristics listed in the attached statement of requirement. In addition to any technical documentation, business quotations must clearly state the price of any components and grand total of all items, including any shipping and warranty costs and any available extended warranty options. The quotation shall also describe any discounts provided to the Government. Please provide a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 with the business proposal. Quotes shall be valid for thirty (30) days. Technical and business quotations shall be submitted electronically to Sherry Solodkova at sherry.solodkova@fda.hhs.gov by the date and time specified in fedbizopps. Thank you for your interest.
