Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary (USP) Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC), located in Pollock, Louisiana intends to make a single award of a firm-fixed price type contract to a responsible entity for the provision under RFQPO5190900008 for Hydro Seeder. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. DESCRIPTION / SCHEDULE: Model T120 Series II Hydroseeder gooseneck trailer, or equal. Capacity 1180 gallons - 1000 gallons working capacity, with 33.5 HP (4) cylinder water cooled V1505 Kubota Diesel engine. Hydraulically controlled variable speed reversible, mechanical paddle agitator and liquid recirculating, one piece clutched assembly, and full rear platform. Gooseneck trailer mounted with electric brakes and DOT lights. Hydraulic heavy duty with lead in hose and couplings, forward and reverse operation. 200 ft 1 1/4" rubber semi rigid hose. Quick operation valve assembly for end of hose plus on/off valve assembly for flow control and dual spraying operation with 7 different nozzles included. Discharge distance up to 200 feet from end of trailer. CONTRACT PRICING: Contract pricing must include all cost or price associated charges or fee's and delivery cost (FOB Destination) to FCC Pollock, Pollock, Louisiana. The government reserves the right to award without discussion; therefore, the initial quote should contain the quoters best terms from a price standpoint. Quoters are hereby notified that an offer of contract award shall be extended to the responsive/responsible quoter submitting the lowest price, technically acceptable quote. It is anticipated that contract award resulting from this solicitation will be made approximately September 14, 2009. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government.
