Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PFPA4709014; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, Defense DCN 20080812, and AFAC 2008-0605. This acquisition will be 100% total small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424690. The business size standard is 100 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5169. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1385. This is a Brand Name or Equal solicitation. All Equal submissions must be accompanied by specific product information for evaluation. C-4 and TNT type explosives shall be IAW MIL-STD for explosives. TNT bomb suppression circle shall be IAW MIL-STD-662F, plastics and pressed explosives shall be IAW MIL-STD-1751, and all shall be IAW DoD Ammunition and Explosives safety Standards under DoD 6055-9E STD.
