Description
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Air and Marine Operations currently occupies 1,100 square feet of office space along with 2 boat slips under a lease in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, that will be expiring. CBP is seeking to lease approximately 1,100 square feet of office space and adjoining 2 boat slips. The rentable space must yield a minimum of 1,100 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet (OASF) and 2 boat slips on site. Other applicable requirements include: •Rapid or emergency response (within 15-30 minutes) of a request to reach open waters within the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area with minimal no-wake zone involvement •The facility must meet Customs and Border Protection (CBP) security requirements. •On site parking for 7 vehicles •Limited access to the CBP facility by non CBP employees U.S. Customs and Border Protection is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. CBP will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, CBP will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy our requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
