- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is W912NR-09-T-0039. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32, DFARS Change Notice 20090115. This solicitation is 100 % set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code assigned to this acquisition is 236210 and small business size standard is $33.5 million. Contractor will provide all materials and labor required for the removal of existing and replacement of new compressor and tank. This includes all electrical and plumbing as required. Specifications: The Air Compressor shall be a Rotary Screw Compressor 75 Horsepower (Scott item #RS75D with enclosed auto drain), or equal with a rating from 100 psi to 175 psi, pounds per square inch. The dimensions of the Compressor can not exceed 58W x 86L x 65H. The tank needs to be a Scott Vertical Air Receiver (part #302428 with auto drain) or equal. If exact item is not quoted (see FAR 52.212-1(b)(4)) a specification sheet or other information must be provided that provides sufficient detail for the United States to determine whether or not the substituted product(s) quoted can satisfy the need. Period of performance shall not exceed ten days after receipt of award. Interested vendors shall quote lump sum price for work; CLIN 1: Removal/Installation of compressor and tank, labor, and materials. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the government, technical specifications, price, delivery, and past performance considered.
