- This notice is released to announce the Department of the Interior-Bureau of Indian Affairs intent to purchase supply of Round UP-Pro Concentrate-Monsanto and DIREX 4L (DIURON) Herbicide Chemicals. Round UP-Pro Chemical to be delivered in "C-pak" containers of 120 gallons and DIREX 4L to be provided in 270 gallon containers. Solicitation (RFQ) RMH00090055 and other information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the IDEAS-EC website or Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of all potential offerors to monitor the IDEAS-EC and Federal Business Opportunities website for any amendments, updates, responses to questions and answers. All potential offerors are to download the solicitation and all other documents from the IDEAS-EC website. No telephone requests will be accepted. The basis of award will be the offer conforming to solicitation specifications that provides the best value to the Government. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or about September 1, 2009 with a closing date estimated on or about September 15, 2009. The solicitation will be a 100% set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424910. The requirement will be procured as a firm fixed price contract in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.6 for commercial contracting. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award. Information on registration may be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to eligible for timely award. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit quote.
