- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract repair of the Elk group site of the North Fork campground. The campground is located off of Forest Road 23 and can be accessed by taking highway 25 south off of highway 12 until reaching Forest Road 23. The North Fork campground is approximately 23 miles up Forest Road 23. The project work includes; site grading; hauling of slash and root-wads; furnishing and installing barrier posts, fire rings, tent pads and tables; and gravelling an 18,000 square foot parking area. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 237990, with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as a total HUBZone set-aside. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is September 11, 2009. A single contract will be awarded to the offeror representing the best value to the Forest Service based upon; price; experience; and past performance. Prospective contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register below to receive notification of any postings concerning this project. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available at this internet site. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service.
