- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract the transportation and installation of a government furnished modular bridge. The project work includes transportation and installation of the bridge and associated hardware from the storage site at Hamilton Construction Company in Springfield, Oregon, to its final destination at the project site. Work also includes finishing of roadway approach construction, installation of object markers, and removal of closure signs and barricades associated with the project site road closure. The project site is located at approximately Mile Point 4.5 on USFS Road 8322. The site is near the end of USFS Road 8322, over a tributary to the Muddy River. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 237310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $31 million. The solicitation will be issued as an Emerging Small Business set-aside. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is September 11, 2009. A single contract will be awarded to the offeror representing the best value to the Forest Service based upon; price; experience; and past performance. Prospective contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register below to receive notification of any postings concerning this project. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available at this internet site. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service.
