- Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to procure, Sole Source from Dor-Mor Inc. the following supply: Various cast iron Mooring Anchors as follows: 300/1000/2000 lb anchors. The objective of this procurement is to provide a mooring for a Coast Guard Mooring Buoys. This office is utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 13, and Policies in Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Items and will result in the issuance of one (1) purchase order. This is a 100% Set-Aside Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423860. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: no further solicitation will be issued for this requirement. The Solicitation Number is HSCG33-09-339S60317. This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Competitive Quotations. However, all responsible parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement will be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via e-mail to Geoffrey.E.Gatewood@uscg.mil within 2 days of the published date of this notice. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Certification of Performance to provide the supply. Supply for use by the U.S. Coast Guard. Responses must be received by 1:00PM PST, September 4, 2009.
