- Draft Brand Name Justification HQ Air Combat Command (ACC)/Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC), Langley AFB VA, intends to issue a brand name combined synopsis/solicitation for eighty-one (81) McAfee Firewall Enterprise (Sidewinder) model 1100, Forty (40) Cisco 2960 switches and associated maintenance support, as well as the connectors and associated maintenance necessary for integrating the firewall into the network (see full list of materials below). 1) McAfee Firewall Enterprise (Sidewinder) Appliance, Model 1100F (P/N NSA-1100-FWEX-FG), QTY 81 each 2) MFE Firewall Enterprise Support, Model 1100F, 36 Months (P/N NYV1100STMG), QTY 81 each 3) Cisco Catalyst 2960 24 10/100 + 2T/SFPLAN Base Image (P/N WS-C2960-24TC-L), QTY 40 each 4) Power Cord, 110V (P/N CAB-AC) QTY 40 each 5) SMARTNET 8X5XNBD Catalyst 2960 24 10/100 + 2T/SFPLAN (P/N CON-SNT-C29602TC) QTY 40 each 6) GE SFP, LC connector SX transceiver (P/N GLC-SX-MM) QTY 40 each A combined synopsis/solicitaton along with a redacted copy of the final approved brand name justification will be posted via www.fbo.gov on or around 8 Sep 09. A draft copy of the justification is attached for industry comments. This notice of intent is not a request for Quotes. The government's intent is to procure the items listed in the J&A through the NASA SEWP Contract Vehicle. Any firm that believes they can satisfy the requirement described within this synopsis and the attached redacted J&A, may submit a response for consideration via email by the closing date of 1 Sep 09, 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. When responding please indicate the socioeconomic size status (8(a), SDVOSB, HubZone, SDB or SB) of your business. Responses to this announcement must be submitted in writing by the stated closing date and time via email to Ms Joy de Lande at joy.delande@langley.af.mil.
