- Contractor shall completely prepare site for a solarium additionincluding excavation, demolition and removal of existing concrete,gravel backfill and furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary toperform work for project 538-10-109, entitled, BUILDING 26 SOLARIUM atVAMC, Chillicothe, Ohio as required by drawings and specifications. Thework includes, but is not limited to, architectural, interior finishes,plumbing, mechanical, electrical work, and other items as required, allwithin strict accordance with the plans and specifications as shown onthe project drawings and as specified. Work is to be completed within275 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. All plans,specifications, and drawings will be available on-line o/a August 15,2009. All specifications and drawings will be available through thiswebsite. No hardcopies will be issued. Estimated cost range is between$250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A pre-bid conference will be held Tuesday,August 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) in Building 1, Room 121 atthe Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route104, Chillicothe, OH 45601; all prospective contractors, subcontractors,and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visitscheduled for this project. Bid Opening Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at2:00 p.m. (local time). This project is 100% set-aside for ServiceDisabled Veteran Owned Small Business. NAICS 236220.
