- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION- Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center is looking for sources that are able to provide programmatic and technical support to the Benefits Program Executive Office (BPEO) and the program management offices that fall under its operational authority. The specific areas of support are: IT Program Management, Organizational Change Management, BPEO Sustainment, and Financial Management. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, management, materials, administrative support, travel, and technical services required to meet the performance objectives of the Office of Information Technology, Office of Enterprise Development. The contractor will provide independent services in support of the Benefits Program Executive Office and the Programs that fall under its operational authority, including but not limited to the Post 9-11 GI Bill (Chapter 33), VETSNET, and Paperless Delivery of Veterans Benefits initiatives. The following Benefits Program Management Offices will be supported: Compensation and Pension, Education, VR&E, and Loan Guarantee, Memorial Affairs and Insurance. It is anticipated the VA will award a six month Firm Fixed Price contract with two three month options. If all options are exercised the total period of performance would be twelve-months. RESPONSES: Responses should be submitted no later than 4:00pm EST on Wednesday 02 September 2009. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA-118-09-RP-0052 is for reference purposes only. No solicitation is available at this time. It is estimated a solicitation will be issued on or about 08 September 2009. An award date of no later than 30 September 2009 is desired.
