- COMBINED SOURCES SOUGHT/SYNOPSIS This combined sources sought/synopsis is for information and planning purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. A contract may not be awarded as a result of this combined sources sought/synopsis. The United States Marshals Service (USMS), on behalf of the Justice Prisoner & Alien Transportation System (JPATS), intends to procure a Diesel Powered Combined Generator/Air Conditioner. Only small businesses are to submit capability packages. Interested small businesses that are certified and qualified as a small business concern under NAICS code 33415 with a size standard of 750 employees are encouraged to submit their specifications and pricing information according to the following general specifications: 1.) 20 ton unit trailer mounted 2.) 30 ft. Output Hose w/aircraft coupler (adapter) 4.) Delivery: Mesa, Arizona 5.) Warranty (12 months) The Government is seeking information to determine if small business can provide this requirement. All small businesses that can perform this requirement are encouraged to submit the requested information by 10:00 am EST, 04 September 2009. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. Please include with your information your DUNS number, Tax ID numbers and cage code. No requests for information, requests for clarification or questions concerning this notice will be provided in response to telephone calls. Formal communications such as requests for clarification and/or information or questions concerning this notice should be submitted via email to the POC. POC is Mr. Curtis Davis, Contracting Officer, e-mail: curtis.davis2@usdoj.gov. No other synopsis will be posted for this requirement. A written Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued electronically on or about 08 September 2009. No hard copies of the RFQ will be issued, and all amendments will be posted and must be retrieved from this website.
