Description
RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS BEING PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR LISTED UNDER THE SBA 8(A) PROGRAM requirement number for Redoubt Industries, Inc.. Project Information: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife is soliciting bids for the replacement of 4 overhead doors and the installation of a portable welding fume extractor/exhaust at the Kodiak National Wildlife refuge headquarters maintenance shop in Kodiak Alaska. The scope of this project will be split into a base bid and Optional Bid items #1 & #2. The base bid shall consist of the contractor traveling to Kodiak to verify the scope of work. Contractor shall submit their base bid prior to completing the site visit. Bid items #1 & #2 shall be submitted upon completion of the scope of work for the base bid. Contractor shall coordinate their site visit with the service prior to commencing. Base Bid Item 1: 1. The base bid shall consist of the contractor traveling to Kodiak to verify the scope of work. ___________________________________________________________________________________Optional Bid Item 1: Optional Bid item #1 shall include all labor and materials required to remove existing doors and associated equipment. Provide and install new doors and associated hardware and operators. Optional Bid item 2: Optional Bid item #2 shall include all labor and materials required to install a portable welding fume extractor/exhaust system. Estimated Range between $25,000 and $100,000 The awarded contract will be firm fixed price and shall be FOB destination. Award is contingent upon the award recipient meeting the requirements of Section 1512 of the Recovery Act.
