- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation number W911RZ-09-T-0372. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333512 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): CLIN 0001: Sharp KHM-180 Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine. QTY: 1 -Brand name or equal. -Shall be able to bore holes in metal at a horizontal point -Shall be able to mill surfaces smooth or make grooves in metal at a horizontal point -Shall be 220 Volt, 60 Hertz, 3 Phase -Color Grey CLIN 0002: Shipping and Installation -Shipping and Installation to the following location: Directorate of Logistics 2400 OConnell Blvd. Building 8000 Fort Carson, CO 80913-5198 ** If the contractor is quoting items other than the brand name and model requested, the contractor shall provide the manufacturers name, model number and detailed specifications of the item in their quote. The item offered must meet the minimum specifications listed in the CLIN description. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. A contractor can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or e-mail at http://www.ccr.gov. NO EXCEPTIONS. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register. The contractor shall complete and return the attached Buy American Act Certificate. All invoices shall be submitted through Wide Area Work Flow. Register at https://wawf.ef.mil/index.html.
