Description

The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol-9-Carboxylic Acid (THC-COOH) and Cross-Reactive Marijuana metabolite reagent kits for the DoD Drug Program. This is a competitive procurement requirements type contract. Period of Performance will be from 01 October 2010 to 30 September 2015. Approximately 4.8 million to 5.2 million tests will be required annually. The drug labs are located in San Diego, CA; Jacksonville, FL; Great Lakes, IL; Brooks City-Base, TX; Fort Meade, MD; Tripler AMC, HI and Rockville, MD. No RFPs will be mailed to offerors. The RFP and all amendments will be posted to www.nmlc.med.navy.mil when released on or about 14 September 2009. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Questions may be submitted by email only to: Shannon.Lertora@med.navy.mil. No phone calls accepted. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ), REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), AND INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) OR AS AN OBLIGATION OR COMMITMENT ON THE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT TO ACQUIRE ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE. THERE SHALL BE NO BASIS FOR CLAIMS AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT AS A RESULT OF INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS NOTICE OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS REQUEST.
