- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Network Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-3, with Linguistics Insights, Inc for contractual statistical analysis services on speech acts to process transcriptions based on research interviews under the guidance of the Research & Development Department at the Charleston VA Medical Center. The NAICS code is 541720, SBA size standard is $7.0 M. The contract period will be from October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010 for a base plus 2. This Notice of Intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties that can provide similar services or equal product must submit their technical specifications of product or services, past performance information, price and delivery time, detailing how their services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer via e-mail or fax at: 478-274-5616. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
