Description
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole source procurement to Strohl Systems of 631 Park Avenue, King of Prussia, Pa, 19406. The purpose of this acquisition is to ensure continued maintenance on the Strohl System, Notifind Emergency Notification System infrastructure, at CBP. The period of performance is from 09/30/09 - 09/29/10. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541519, and the size standard is $23M. NotiFind is the automated tool for contacting mission critical personnel as identified by the Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP). It provides mission critical services/capability to properly manage and administer CBP's official automated notification software services and infrastructure used by CBP's Office of Information Technology (OIT), Office of Intelligence and Operations Coordination (OIOC), Office of Border Patrol (OBP), National Law Enforcement Communications Center (NLECC), and the Commissioner's Situation Room for emergency call-outs. Legislation requires an integrated tool to perform COOP activities. In accordance with FAR 6.301 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements", CBP has determined Strohl System to be the only firm capable of satisfying the requirements stated above.
