- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this project is 441221 and the size standard is 100 employees. This solicitation is a Request for Quote set aside for Small Business. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Mesa Verde National Park has a requirement for a tracked hauler per the following specifications: Durable rubber tracks; Track length ground contact, less than 40 inches; Track tread width, 28 inches or less; Overall vehicle length, no more than 106 inches; Overall vehicle width, no more than 35 inches; Payload capacity, 1,600 pounds or more; Hydraulic actuated front dumping bucket; Bucket must be durable to survive 340 degree temperatures and rough loading of large rocks; Unloaded vehicle weight, less than 1,500 pounds; Diesel engine powered, 15 to 25 horsepower range; Electric starter; Fuel capacity to operate for 8 hours; Hydrostatic transmission; All function controls at operator station; Travel control must have automatic return to stop if operator lets go of control lever(s); Must be current model, new construction, from a reputable company, providing sufficient warranty and repair parts support. Place of Delivery is Mesa Verde National Park in SW Colorado; quote FOB Destination. Please note that vendors must currently be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
