- This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide Request for Quotes W912HN-09-T-0100. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202 (a) (13), Exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The solicitation number is W912HN-09-T-0100, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 423310 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Description of Requirement: The Wilmington District of the Army Corp of Engineers requests the procurement and delivery of 300 pressure treated (.40) 6 x 8 x 8 and 1500 pressure treated (.40) 6 x 8 x 12 southern yellow pine timbers to North Bend Park at John H Kerr Reservoir, 1930 Mays Chapel Road, Boydton, VA in accordance with attached specifications: CONTRACT LINE ITEMS * ARRA - #2 Grade Yellow Pine Timbers 6 x 8 x 12 The contractor will provide, deliver, and unload 1,500 #2 Grade, pressure treated (.40) 6 x 8 x 12 southern yellow pine timbers to North Bend Park at John H Kerr Reservoir, 1930 Mays Chapel Road, Boydton, VA before September 30, 2009. * ARRA- #2 Grade Yellow Pine Timbers 6 x 8 x 8 The contractor will provide, deliver, and unload 300 #2 Grade, pressure treated (.40) 6 x 8 x 8 southern yellow pine timbers to North Bend Park at John H Kerr Reservoir, 1930 Mays Chapel Road, Boydton, VA before September 30, 2009.
