Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE TO CONTRACTORS UNDER MACC N68711-03-D-7004 HVAC GROUP. NAVFAC SW00045 MACC Group 32: N68711-03-D-4008, Sun Mechanical Company; N68711-03-D-4009, Bestek Engineering Inc.; N68711-03-D-4011, Souza Construction Inc. The work includes, but is not limited to, replacing one fire tube boiler with two water tube boilers and installing two CHP microturbines. Constructing pursuant to engineered plans and specifications provided by TENG Companies of CA. Balance system at the completion of all work and demonstrate operation to the NAVY. Balancer shall be either AABC or NEABB certified. Remove existing fire tube boiler and piping designated for removal. Electrical demolition per design documents including transfer switch. Furnish and install new automatic transfer switch, two new high efficiency water tube boilers and two microturbines. Furnish and install necessary control equipment to integrate new equipment with existing JCI Metasys DDC system. Provide all necessary piping, mechanical, electrical and other connections to provide a fully functional system at the completion of work. Work shall comply with engineered design documents and specifications provided. ************************************************************The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238220 and the annual size standard is $14.0M. "Estimated cost: Between $500,000 to $1,000,000." This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. The proposed contract action is for construction for which the Government intends to solicit and award without discussion under the authority of FAR Part 15. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal, and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
