Description
RECOVERY- This requirement is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) plans to procure a commercial reproductive toxicology software and database system that utilizes a web service interface to furnish users with access to the system applications. The purpose of this system is to support the collection, management and maintenance of the reproductive, perinatal and developmental studies of the National Toxicology Program (NTP), which are done predominantly at contractor laboratories at various sites. Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. It is anticipated that this will be a two year contract with optional quantities for additional sites/licenses. The proposed contract will be set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 518210 with a corresponding size standard of $25 million. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using the procedures for aqcuiring commercial items authorized in FAR Part 12 and the authority to use simplified procedures for commercial requirements provided in FAR Part 13.5. This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and is subject to the reporting requirements of the act. This is not a solicitation. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is September 15, 2009 and offers will be due 15 days after the solicitation release date.
