- It is the intent of FISC Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division to solicit a sole source procurement for Caterpillar replacement/repair parts for a Model 3608 diesel generator. This procurement is being solicited via Request for Quotation N00189-09-T-N174. The closing date for this Request for Quotation is September 10, 2009. Complete specifications will be provided with the Request for Quotation. DFAR 252.204-7004 required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. If you have questions regarding this regulation, call 1-888-227-2423 or visit the website at http://ccr.gov. Fax and/or phone requests are not allowed and will not be considered. All requests for a copy of the request for quotation shall include complete mailing address, telephone number, fax number and point of contact and e-mailed to deedee.miller@navy.mil. All inquiries in regard to this solicitation must also be submitted via e-mail to deedee.miller@navy.mil. The solicitation will not be available as a link to this announcement. The Request for Quotation must be filled out in its entirety, providing all requested information.
