- Description
- The Transportation Security Laboratory within the Department of Homeland Security has a requirement for the following explosive material items: Semtex 10 (Qty: 100lbs); Semtex 1H (Qty: 100lbs) and Semtex 1A (Qty: 100lbs). This requirement was initially posted to the FBO in May 2009, as a Notification of Intent to Sole Source, however, based on market research, and in accordance with FAR 5.1 and 5.2, the Government intends to elicit responses (Requests For Quotations) from ALL qualified small business concerns to satisfy this requirement. Note: It is requested that those vendors who submitted a quote from the May 2009 notice re-submit under this new notice. The period of performance for this effort is 180 days after receipt of order. Materials/Supplies used in the performance on resultant award shall be provided by the contractor. Government Furnished Material/Government Furnished Property will not be provided.
