- This solicitation is for work to furnish inspection services for dredging, dikes, rip rap, weir installation, and revetments as may be required on various projects located at Glynn County, Georgia and Jasper County, South Carolina. The solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Invitation for Bids (IFB). The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 8 September 2009. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. This procurement will be issued as an 8a Competitive Set-aside. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on FedBizOpps. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested contractors must register to receive notification on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration database in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation.
